Diana Zahuranec is an American journalist living in Piedmont who writes and translates for Wine Pass. She loves the cuisine, wine, and cheese of Piedmont, and is especially happy with her proximity to the Alps! Her goal and challenge is to see as much of the region as possible using public transportation, but if you have a car she'd appreciate the ride. She graduated from the University of Gastronomic Sciences in Pollenzo, Piedmont with a Master in Food Culture and Communications, where she had her introduction to Italian wines and wine tasting. Still learning, she loves trying the different varieties and visiting family wineries in the area. Don't tell, but she also loves Piedmont's artisan beer.
Her current favorite wine is Ghemme DOCG (and as for beer, anything by Birrifico Torino).
