With Taste Susa and Sangone Valley (Gusto Val Susa e Val Sangone), explore traditional food and wines of northern Piemonte with the incredible backdrop of Alpine panoramas and scenic countrysides.

Gusto Val Susa is a chance to discover the flavors and traditions of the towns in the province of Turin with its ambitious schedule of events lined up from May to December. Some of the tasty products that will be featured in the festivals, fairs, and markets that make up Gusto Val Susa are sweet canstrelli, goffries, goat cheeses, local apples, unique potato varieties, and more.

Did you taste a particularly delicious apple, or a singular cheese you know won't be available in the supermarket? There will be many opportunities to purchase directly from the producers and artisans, giving you the chance to support local economies and buy high quality products at great prices.

Visitors come for the food and wine, but it's quite possible they'll stay longer than intended for the breathtaking scenery. The countrysides bordered by the incredible Alpine mountains, the artistic beauty of historic centers in Avigliana and Susa, grandiose monuments and abbeys erected on the peaks of mountains, and characteristic villages dotting the valleys give visitors more than a few reasons to come back for more.

The events lined up from May until December certainly give plenty of opportunities to return. Everything Honey (Tuttomiele), Fair of the Mountain Potato and Novalesa Toma Cheese (Fiera della patata di montagna e della toma novalesa), the Rural Festival of Cevrin Cheese (Festa Rurale Sagra del Cevrin), the Chestnut Fair (Festa del Marrone)...summer days, autumn evenings, and winter nights are full of activities!
